These SMS Terms of Service govern text messages sent by The Sunset (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By opting in to receive text messages from The Sunset, you agree to these terms.
SMS Messages You May Receive
Depending on how you interact with us and the consent you provide, The Sunset may send you text messages concerning:
- Reservation confirmations and updates
- Check-in instructions and reminders
- Account verification and security notifications
- Changes affecting your stay
- Customer-service communications
- Promotional offers and other marketing messages, where you have separately opted in to receive them
Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing accommodations or services.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your reservation activity and the services you request. You may receive up to three messages per reservation, although additional messages may be sent when reasonably necessary to respond to your requests, communicate important reservation changes, or provide customer support.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Charges are determined by your wireless carrier and mobile-service plan. Contact your wireless carrier with questions about your messaging or data plan.
How to Opt Out
You may cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP.
After you reply STOP, you will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive text messages from that SMS program. To receive messages again, you must opt in again through an available sign-up or reservation process.
Opting out of promotional text messages may not prevent us from sending essential transactional or operational communications relating to an active reservation where permitted by applicable law.

Carrier Disclaimer
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of text messages may be affected by factors outside the control of The Sunset or your wireless carrier.
Eligibility and Mobile Number Responsibility
By opting in, you confirm that you are the authorized user of the mobile number provided or have permission from the authorized user to enroll that number.
You agree to notify us if your mobile number changes or is reassigned so that messages are not sent to another person.
Privacy
We handle personal information associated with our SMS program in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Mobile telephone numbers and SMS consent information will not be sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share information with service providers that help us deliver and administer the SMS program on our behalf, subject to appropriate privacy and confidentiality obligations.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these SMS Terms of Service from time to time. When changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued participation in the SMS program after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
