We keep things simple. The Sunset accepts the following payment methods:

- Mastercard
- American Express (Amex)
- Discover
- Direct Bill*

What payment methods does The Sunset not accept?
At this time, we’re unable to accept:
- Cash
- Prepaid or one-time cards issued by U.S. banks or financial institutions (including services like Klarna one-time cards)
- Payment apps or transfers not listed above (such as Venmo, Cash App, or bank transfers)
Can I change my payment method after booking?
If you haven’t paid yet, you can update your payment method using the secure link in your reservation confirmation email. This link takes you to Manage Reservation, where you can view and manage your reservation.
Once payment has been processed, the payment method can’t be changed. If you’re still within your cancellation window, you’re welcome to cancel and rebook using a different form of payment.
My card keeps getting declined. What should I do?
If your payment isn’t going through, try the following:
- Double-check that your card details are entered correctly
- Confirm there are sufficient funds available
- Try a different card or payment option
- Contact your bank to make sure the charge isn’t being blocked

Does Sunset charge an exchange rate?
We don’t apply any exchange rates ourselves. If you’re traveling from outside your home country, any exchange rates or foreign transaction fees are set by your bank or card provider.
