If you booked directly with us
Before arrival (pre-stay):
You can cancel, shorten, or extend your stay using the link in your reservation confirmation email.

After arrival (during your stay):
Please contact our team and we’ll be happy to help, subject to availability. Extensions and changes aren’t guaranteed, but we’ll always do our best to accommodate you.
If you booked through another platform (OTA)
If your reservation was made through a third-party site like Airbnb, Booking.com, or Expedia, all changes—including cancellations, extensions, or shortening your stay—must be managed directly through that platform’s website or app. Unfortunately, we’re not able to modify OTA bookings on your behalf.

Can I change my stay dates instead of cancelling?
Yes. If you booked directly with us on a Flexible rate and availability allows, you can modify your dates using the link in your reservation confirmation email. If you’re already checked in, please contact our team and we’ll do our best to help.
Is there a fee to cancel or change my reservation?
Cancellation and modification policies depend on the rate you booked. You’ll see the exact terms in your confirmation email or when you access your reservation through the booking link.
Can I extend my stay after I’ve checked in?
Possibly. Extensions are subject to availability. Contact our team as soon as you know you’d like to stay longer so we can check options for you.
Why can’t The Sunset change my Airbnb, Booking.com, or Expedia reservation?
Reservations made through third-party booking platforms must be managed directly through that platform. Each partner controls its own payments, policies, and modifications, so we’re unable to make changes on your behalf.
What if I can’t find my reservation email?
Check your spam or junk folder, then search your inbox for “The Sunset.” If you still can’t locate it, contact us and we’ll be happy to resend it.
